- The Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s big new software change was Grace UX.
- It featured a much cleaner UI and overall design, including slick background blur when viewing folders and widgets.
- New swipe gestures for performing different actions on the homescreen, and more.
- But many folks haven’t been able to fully enjoy that new UI as they’re more concerned about their phones burning their hands off.
- Well, thankfully it seems Samsung will be bringing Grace UX to their safer lot of phones while the Note 7’s situations get sorted.
- The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are both said to be getting the goods in a forthcoming upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat.
- The update may also see improvements and tweaks to the devices’ Always On feature. The only question is how long it’ll take to see all this reach the handsets.
- We know that the update is already in testing, but we’re not sure how long it will take to get here.
- In the meantime, a combination of Samsung Good Lock and a custom launcher does well to make any TouchWiz hater happy.
