Xiaomi Mi Note 2 specifications:
- Leaks suggest that the Mi Note 2 will flaunt a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display. The displays on the 4GB RAM | 64GB/128GB variants are expected to feature full HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution.
- The top-end 6GB RAM | 256GB ROM variant is expected to come with QHD resolution display. Under the hood
- Is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 quad-core chipset.
- The Mi Note 2 is expected to come with a pair of 16-megapixel cameras at the back. This will be the third Xiaomi smartphone to boast dual-camera setup at the back, after the Redmi Pro and Mi 5s Plus.
- The smartphone is expected to come with a 5-megapixel front camera.
- The Mi Note 2 include a 4,000mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
- Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE HD voice calling support, NFC, GPS Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
- On the software front, the smartphone could run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8. That said, there are a couple of rumors that suggest the smartphone could run on Android Nougat 7.0-based MIUI 9 out-of-the-box.
- The Mi Note 2 is already under mass production, and Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun recently hinted that the smartphone will ‘come with a surprise’. Now there’s no word on what that surprise exactly is, and all we can do at the moment is wait for the launch event on October 25.
- The Mi Note 2 being the most expensive device in Xiaomi’s line-up, the starting price is expected to be around RMB 4,000, which is approximately Rs 39,800.
- According to the leaked slide, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be priced at CNY 5,699 (approximately Rs. 57,000) and go on sale in China from November 1.
